SUSTAINABILITY

FASHION IN HARMONY WITH PEOPLE & NATURE

VON&ZU stands for long-lasting, timeless, and fair fashion. Therefore, it is important to us to act in harmony with people and nature in the long term.

Our commitment:

  • Limited production
  • Socially Fair
  • Long-lasting fashion
  • Manufactured in Europe
  • Recycled packaging bags
  • Reuse of shipping boxes
  • Manageable transport routes

LIMITED PRODUCTION

We manufacture our clothing exclusively in limited series. This means that, based on demand, we only produce as many pieces as our retailers actually order. By limiting our production, we use raw materials consciously, avoid overproduction, and thus prevent surplus stock and the associated loss of value of the products.

SOCIAL FAIR

For us, sustainable production primarily means social responsibility. We produce exclusively in EU countries (Germany, Hungary, Poland, and Romania) and ensure that all our producers work under fair conditions and are paid appropriate wages.

Our producers are long-standing partners of our factory. They are familiar with our quality standards and know what matters to us. We maintain close contact with them and regularly visit them on-site, which allows us to gain a much better understanding of their working methods, problems, and possibilities, and to respond accordingly.

LONG-LASTING FASHION

Extending the lifespan of our clothing and creating a lasting style is our top priority. Therefore, we focus on high-quality materials and impeccable craftsmanship. Conscious, high-quality consumption can conserve resources in the long term, and this small contribution can reduce global CO2 emissions.

MADE IN EUROPE

We design and manufacture some of our sample pieces in our factory in Gemünden am Main. This allows us to develop perfectly formed garments without logistical constraints and long transport routes. Our distance from the design table to the tailor's studio is just 5 meters.

By producing in Europe, we also reduce our transport routes to a minimum, resulting in significantly fewer greenhouse gas emissions.

By producing in Europe, we can support the craftsmanship on our continent and ensure that good know-how and high-quality tailoring skills can be passed on for many generations to come.
